A Las Vegas woman received a surprise proposal on Saturday night at the Glittering Lights attraction at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

24-year-old Alexis Terry thought her sister had won a private tram ride through the lights. Nearly 30 of the couple's family and friends snuggled up for the on-air ride.

At the end of the ride, Alexis was surprised to see 27-year-old Chris Lehman of Pahrump emerge from the light tunnel in front of a giant handmade LED sign that read "Will you marry me Alexis." He was holding a ring that belonged to his great-grandmother.

The Terry family has been visiting Glittering Lights for more than 11 years.

The Santa Tram is provided by Silver State Schools Credit Union. This is the 19th year for Glittering Lights in Southern Nevada.
