A UNLV honors student is helping take care of the homeless in Las Vegas.
Sara Younis and a team of students delivered care backpacks Sunday around the city. Each backpack has a hygiene kit and snacks.
"In the backpacks is just, like the title says, care," Younis said. "It has stuff the homeless people need like toothbrushes, soap and towels. In the backpack, there's also snacks, and a baseball cap and socks."
Along with a local nonprofit, Younis raised the money used to buy the items in the packs.
