Station Casinos presented a check for $60,712 to Veterans Village to help support homeless veterans who live at the downtown housing.

The money was raised during Station Casinos’ second annual Month of Honor in May, where the company committed to donate a portion of its proceeds and gaming winnings from guests who purchased specific patriotic-themed dining, gaming and entertainment offerings at its properties.

In addition, guests were invited to donate a portion of their Boarding Pass points to help feed a veteran in need.

A total of 1,260 buffets also will be donated as a result of guests generously giving more than 10 million Boarding Pass points.

In 2015, the first year of Month of Honor, Station Casinos raised $58,178 for Veterans Village.
