St. Patrick’s Day 'ShamROCK' celebration begins in downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A four-day St. Patrick’s Day ShamROCK celebration begins on March 14 at Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas.

The event includes flash mobs, dancers and free live entertainment. 16 bands will perform on 3 stages throughout the weekend, including Celtic Rockers, Whiskey Galore and more.

Using #FremontStreet on Instagram gives attendees a chance to see their photos displayed on the Fremont Street canopy, Viva Vision.

On March 17, on Main Street Stage, uniformed firefighters from across the country will join Las Vegas Valley firefighters and bagpipers for the 13th Annual Las Vegas Firefighters Benefit Association St. Patrick’s Day march beginning at noon.

Also returning is the interactive, Cirque du Soleil-inspired production show, “Sticky Sweet,” featuring dancing, singing and high-flying aerialist acts performing nightly from 8 – 10 p.m. on 3rd Street Stage.

As part of the efforts of the Las Vegas Coalition for Zero Fatalities, Fremont Street Experience, Lyft Las Vegas and Zero Fatalities will be offering up to $5 off two rides for new and existing Lyft users in Downtown Las Vegas beginning March 15 at 7 p.m. through March 18 at 8 a.m.
