Local families can indulge in scoopfuls of sweet, frosty fun as the Springs Preserve hosts its annual all-you-can-eat Ice Cream Festival on May 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The family-friendly event will feature stations serving ice cream cones, sundaes, novelties and root beer floats.

After eating all the ice cream they possibly can, guests can relax and enjoy entertainment including Frozen Story Time, a Pirate Magic Show, carnival games, face painting, crafts, and live music by local teens Chimps on a Blimp, and a bubble play station.

Admission to the Ice Cream Festival is $10 for adults and $8 for children ages 3 to 12. Children under three are admitted free. Springs Preserve members receive half off admission.
