The Smith Center will offer a sensory-friendly performance on "The Lion King" on Saturday, Nov. 17.

This performance, scheduled at 2 p.m., is specially designed for audiences with sensory sensitivities and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, including the reduction of jarring noises and lights, and designated areas in the lobby for audience members to take a break.

This marks The Smith Center’s first-ever sensory-friendly performance of a Broadway show. Back in April, they offered sensory-friendly performances of "Shh! We Have a Plan."

"The Lion King" will be at The Smith Center through Nov. 25.
