The Fremont Street Experience presented a $15,742 check to the Animal Foundation on April 4. The funds were raised from a charity event held by SlotZilla on March 24.
During the event, 100 percent of the revenue from the SlotZilla zipline was donated to the animal charity.
“We are thrilled that so many pet lovers came down to support the Animal Foundation by flying on SlotZilla,” said Thomas Bruny, the director of marketing for the Fremont Street Experience. He also said that the Animal Foundation takes in approximately 35,000 lost, unwanted, and abandoned pets every year. The money raised will go towards the animals' well-being.
