UPDATE SEPT. 7: A name has been chosen for the new baby dolphin at The Mirage. The female calf's name is Coco.
Coco displays the initials of MGM Resorts International’s “One Company, One Culture” employee philosophy in reverse order.
Coco, her mother Huf n Puf, grandmother Duchess and sister Bella are in the Birthing and Research pool, which is open to public viewing during the facility’s operational hours. Together, these females represent three generations of dolphins at The Mirage. Sofi, an 11-year-old female, completes the female pod. The calf’s father, Lightning, is located in another pool.

Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat has a new baby in its waters.
The female bottlenose dolphin calf was born July 17 to Huf n Puf, who was born at the Habitat, located at The Mirage hotel-casino, in March 2000.
The mother and her calf are in the Birthing and Research pool, which is open to public viewing during the facility’s operational hours. The calf’s father, Lightning, is located in another pool.
