On Aug. 4, SeaQuest Las Vegas hosted children and families from Little Miss Hannah Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works with families that have children with rare and life limiting diseases. Children mingled with many of the animals, including snakes, iguanas, otters and more in a comfortable, relaxed setting at SeaQuest, located at Boulevard Mall.
The Little Miss Hannah Foundation was founded by the parents of Hannah, who was diagnosed with Neuronopathic Gaucher’s Disease type 2 or 3, an incredibly rare and life-limiting genetic metabolic disorder. The Nevada nonprofit’s mission is to help enhance the quality of life for young children with rare, life-limiting or undiagnosed complex medical needs, as well as children who have been placed in hospice or palliative care.
