The Henderson Pavilion will offer a screening of the retro-future silent film Metropolis, accompanied by a live score from the Henderson Symphony Orchestra, at 8:30 p.m. on June 10.
Directed by Fritz Lang, the 1927 film has been touted as the pioneer of science fiction. The film has been digitally restored, allowing modern audiences to experience the film as it premiered nearly 90 years ago.
