'80s musical "Rock of Ages" will rock out for one last time in Las Vegas as the city rings in 2017.

The last show at the Rio hotel-casino will be Jan. 1. The show opened at the Rio last January after a three-year run at The Venetian hotel-casino.

Set in Los Angeles' Sunset Strip in 1987, "Rock of Ages' tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit, and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love.

The musical includes such songs as “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “I Wanna Know What Love Is,” “Here I Go Again,” “Don’t Stop Believin’” and more.

"Rock of Ages" performs Tuesdays through Sundays at 8 p.m. through Jan. 1, 2017. Tickets for the remaining performances can be purchased online or by calling (702) 777-2782.
