More than 2500 romance authors and readers will gather at the Rio Hotel and Casino from April 12-17 for the RT Booklovers Convention. The convention is one of the largest in the country where genre readers come to connect with the authors they love.
Avon Books, an industry leader in romance fiction, will celebrate their 75th Anniversary with a special event in the convention on Friday. Up to 1000 readers and over 60 authors are anticipated to attend.
“Avon has always represented the ‘Diamond Standard’ of romance, so we are especially thrilled to mark our 75th anniversary with this reader party at the RT Booklovers Convention,” says Liate Stehlik, Senior Vice President, Publisher of William Morrow and Avon Books. The company started in 1941 and is widely renowned for popularizing historical romance.
