The weather is already one reason to visit Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area this weekend. Another, entrance to the park is free.
From Feb. 13-15, the Bureau of Land Management waived the fees for Presidents Day weekend.
On Monday, plenty of people were filling up Red Rock's visitor center parking lot as they took advantage of the free admission.

"Just wanted to get off the Strip for a little bit and come out and see the mountains basically," said Alissa Klein, a visitor to Red Rock.
Other fees for overnight camping and group day use will remain in effect.
