The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department teamed up with community leaders in hopes to cut crime in a northeast neighborhood.
Saturday's event was called Police, Pastors and Pancakes. Leaders served breakfast to neighbors in the area of Lake Mead and Hollywood boulevards.
Leaders hope the event will engage the community, revitalize the neighborhood and spread the word of peace in the area.
