Operation Fire H.E.A.T. helped provide Christmas for a family of five who lost everything when their house was destroyed by fire on Dec. 28.

Henderson fire reported it as an electrical blaze. Neighbors notified the family after seeing smoke come from the roof.

The Cain family consists of John and Sanna, and their three children: 16-year-old Nathan, 13-year old-Sarah and 11-year-old Michael.

Operation Fire H.E.A.T. took the family shopping for basic necessities such as toiletries, clothing and school supplies. The team and firefighters who fought the blaze brought Christmas presents for the children.

"It means so much to us, even the little things," Sanna said. "The toothpaste, somebody to bring us dinners. These gifts are going to be amazing for my children. All I can really say is thank you."

This was the seventh family Operation Fire H.E.A.T. has assisted this holiday season.
