The need for blood remains high as the COVID-19 pandemic has hampered blood donation efforts valley-wide.
In response, the City of North Las Vegas and North Las Vegas Police Department are thrilled to partner with Vitalant to host a blood drive on Dec. 9 at the North Las Vegas Police Department's Northwest Area Command.
NLVPD Northwest Area Command is located at 3755 W. Washburn Road. The blood drive is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 9 inside the training auditorium.

All donors will receive a discounted admission voucher of $5 off admission to Glittering Lights holiday attraction, courtesy of Glittering Lights and Vilatant.
Those who successfully donate will also receive a COVID-19 antibody test with their donation.
Donors must wear a face mask or face covering when donating. Safety guidelines will be strictly enforced.
