The Shade Tree has received a sizeable donation from the Hakkasan Group.
The global hospitality company raised more than $63,000 and collected one ton of goods over the course of several weeks throughout the holiday season. Members of the Hakkasan Group delivered the donations and a check to The Shade Tree on Tuesday.
The donations will assist The Shade Tree shelter clients who are victims of domestic violence, homelessness and sex trafficking in Southern Nevada and beyond. In addition, Hakkasan Group employees volunteered more than 450 hours serving the women and children living at the shelter.
The donations and check were presented to The Shade Tree board members by Hakkasan Group CEO, Neil Moffitt.
