Mayor John Lee and student from Williams Elementary School unveiled the new Welcome to North Las Vegas sign on Tuesday.
Earlier this year, the students asked the mayor if they could adopt the sign, which has been plagued with graffiti.
Williams Elementary also volunteered to take care of the area around the sign.
