Nevada State College continues its Arts and Culture events series with a public poetry reading on April 30 at 7 p.m. in the Winchester Cultural Center.
The reading is part of a three-day event featuring beat poet Michael McClure in association with Clark County Poet Laureate, Clark County Parks and Recreation, the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District and NV Energy. Other invents include a student-only conversation with McClure on April 29, and a public poetry workshop at 2 p.m. on May 1 at the Clark County Library.
