For several years, Nevada Highway Patrol and its officers have collected and purchased blankets throughout the year to give to the city’s homeless during the cold months.
On Wednesday, Dec. 16, NHP teamed up with Las Vegas Rescue Mission to give hundreds of blankets to homeless men and women just in time for the cold weather of this week.
Several NHP officers were on hand to personally hand out the blankets and wish those in need a Happy Holiday.
