Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NVCCF) will hold its 24th annual Camp Cartwheel Summer Camp at Torino Ranch in a virtual environment from July 20-25.

Each year the camp hosts critically ill children diagnosed with cancer, HIV/AIDS, sickle cell, renal, blood and immunologic diseases, their siblings, and children whose parents are diagnosed with cancer.

Traditionally, Camp Cartwheel at Torino Ranch has hosted two camp sessions each summer with activities such as swimming, scuba diving, arts and crafts, canoeing, outdoor games, and more in a 24-hour medically supervised environment.

This summer, NVCCF will bring Camp Cartwheel to its clients virtually with the help of social media, distributing activity packets to clients, and providing Camp Cartwheel t-shirts for children and volunteers of this much-loved summer camp in Nevada.

In lieu of donating to Camp Cartwheel, NVCCF is asking for much needed donations to its Emergency COVID-19 Help Fund providing basic living needs directly to pediatric patients in treatment and their families in dire financial need.

For more information or to donate, please call NVCCF at 702-735-8434 or donate at nvccf.org.
