My mother is the strongest and most fearless woman I have ever met. It has served me well by giving me the inspiration to live my life to the fullest and love without limits; I am proudly a mother of three just like her! Linda Salazar Bell & Tyra Bell-Holland
My mom is the best. Always will help when I’m in a bind. When I was little she used to take us to get our nails done and pay for my friends. On top of that, she would let my friend live with me for three months every summer when I was in my pre-teens. She is a great tipper. Too much so. She helps all charities and will give money to all homeless people. She even offered a homeless guy a ride one time when I was seven years old and it scared the crap out of me. She is so innocent and believes in the good of mankind and humanity. My sister was out of a job and she even paid her rent for six months since she was pregnant. My Mom, Terri La Sane is battling leukemia. She is the strongest woman I know, she's my super woman. Kivvette McMillan.
My mother was an incredible human being. Sadly she passed away about two months ago leaving behind a husband, three daughters, a grandson and two new grand babies on the way. She was the most outgoing and generous women. Anyone who knew her would tell you that her smile was contagious and she always put everyone before her. This Mother’s Day will be hard but we all know she is still with us. Love you mama. Bailey Hawthorne
My mom is an amazing dedicated hard working woman. She is 60 years old she works as a housekeeper at Bally’s casino and on her days off she works at the outdoor swapmeet. She has always put my sister, 3 brothers and my self before anyone. Carla Sandoval
My mom's name is Marlene and mine is Elizabeth. My mom is amazing because she’s always there for me and listens to a lot of my problems and helps me with them. She loves me unconditionally and accepts me for who I am. She may nag me but that’s only because genuinely cares. She wakes me up every morning for school and makes sure I’m never late. She’s literally my best friend❤️. I’m so glad she’s my mother.
My mom Toni Miller is amazing because she has always been my biggest supporter throughout my life. She's always told me to go after my dreams, and she taught me how to be independent. And she's the kind of mom you can talk with about anything and everything. She's also the first one in line to defend me and my brothers, and has always put us first. Jessica Popowcer, 13 Action News producer
My Mom, Pacita or aka Mama Cita, just turned 85yo the other day. She and my Dad has 6 kids,13 gkids and 6 great gkids. We would like to honor her especially this Morhers Day for being such a great lady to us and to the whole community of OLGC. She’s a very religious lady. She has this contagious smile that will brighten your day, her jolly presence makes your day lighter. Mom is so beautiful, inspiring, and strong. Our Mom is all sorts of AMAZING. She’s also very selfless Lady. We want her to know how much we love her so much. Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Wilma Estrella
My mom is amazing because when I had a baby we didnt know was coming she went right with it and became an amazing grandmother, she has been there for me every step of the way! She has helped me take care of my daughter and still taking care of me, babysitting every day while I work and loving all. She goes out of her way to help not only her family but strangers and friends. Her name is Wende and she is amazing. Samantha Aaron
My mom is special in that she always puts her family first. She taught me the importance of treating everyone one with respect. She has sacrificed so much having raised me and my sister as a single parent since we were young after my dad passed away unexpectedly in 1995. She is one of the sweetest, kindest, selfless people I’ve ever known and I can’t believe I have the privilege of calling her my mom. 13 Action News Investigative Reporter Joe Bartels
My mother is so amazing. She does everything in her path to help people. Jaishawn Bell.
“My mother was my first teacher, my first love and my first champion. She molded me to become the business man that Nevadans see today. Our best memory was attending the inauguration of the first African American president, Barack Obama. She always told me that I could be president.” Shaundell Newsome, Urban Chamber Board Chairman and Visionary/Founder of Sumnu Marketing, Nevada Family Owned Business of the Year 2015.
My mom (Kellynda Osborne) may look like a normal mom, but she is so much more. She is my family's biggest supporter. She has been there for all my sister's tennis matches, all my random sports games, and always on my dad's side of the ring. My mom also suffers from a serious stomach condition called gastroparesis. It means her stomach muscles are practically dead and often leaves her in unbearable pain when eating the wrong food (almost everything). As the conditions progresses, her stomach becomes intolerant to more and more foods. While this seems so scary and daunting, I have never once heard my mom complain. She never tells people how unfair it is that she is stuck with eating spinach and potatoes while other people enjoy fried chicken. She never asks why her. Just like everything in her life, she takes it in stride with her head held high. Instead of turning from ignorant people that try to say it is not to serious, she spends her time educating those people. My mom is so strong and amazing. She is my insperation for life. She is gentle yet strong. Celina O
My mom is my hero in so many ways. From taking care of me as a daycare provider to adopting me when my situation got bad. She put me through any sport I wanted to try and endured all the teen angst I threw at her. I never really understood what unconditional love was until I got older and finally realized that everything she did was for me. She’s such a powerful woman and lights up any room she walks into. So many people love her and I don’t know a single person that has any negative feelings towards her. After everything’s she’s been through in this life, I hope she doesn’t regret a single thing. I love my mom so much and I’ll never be able to really express how much she means to me and how thankful I am that she chose to adopt me into this beautiful and diverse family. Sasha Lynn
I love my mom (Kehau) because she is so kind to me. I also love my mom because she is super encouraging to me when I have a hard time in school. My mom is helpful by washing the dishes and doing the laundry even if it’s my turn to do the laundry. My mom is amazing because she makes up the most funniest jokes I heard in my life. My mom is unique because she is pretty and beautiful every day and every second. Those are the five things I love about my mom. Shevelle Sala, age 10.
My Mom is the most amazing woman I know. She’s smart, she’s thoughtful, she’s my sounding board and my encourager. Mom gives me honest advice. She speaks truth. She loves God, loves my Dad, and shows me how to live by example. I am so thankful she’s mine! Good Morning Las Vegas Anchor Beth Fisher
My Mom is turning 93 this month and is married to my Dad (whose 93rd birthday is today!) for 67 years! 68 years on June 10th! She is the strongest woman I know and has been a person to look up to and respect for my whole life. She continues to run the household all on their own. I am so proud of my Mom and many of my friends call her Mom too. She is loved by so many! Next week we are traveling to Washington D.C. to meet her newest great grandchild. The trip will not be easy for her but she is determined to go. She is absolutely amazing! Carol Gillman
She is Always there for me!♡ her. Debra Porter
My mom has one of the biggest hearts anybody that knows her would agree. She is so great at being a mother and friend whenever I need support or maybe just some laughs. There will never be enough time in any life to repay her for everything she has done for me and my sisters. She has definitely turned into my best friend and I love her so much. Itzel Rodriguez
I lost my mom several months ago. I miss her so much, but I have so many memories that make me smile. Happy Mother's Day Mom!!! Leslie Decker
My mom was the kind of mom that always placed her kids first. My mom struggled so hard in life to make sure we had the best. My mom is so amazing because her Love for all 4 of her children was unconditional. I want to thank my mom for bringing me into this world and making me an amazing women. This is me and my mom on a cruise together. Look how beautiful She was at 63 years old now that is amazing She is now in heaven. Reina
My mom is amazing because 21 years ago she decided to fight for me, and she hasn't stopped! She fights to make sure I get the care I need. She doesn't take no for an answer if she thinks it's not fair, or right when it comes to all the "red tape" she has to go through for my medical care. As a single mom, she works many long hours to provide all the things I need, but still makes time to play with me, and give my sister the time and attention she needs as well. I am special to a lot of people, but no one makes me feel more special and loved than my mom. I deserve the best, and I got the best when God chose her to be my mom!!! Tami Johnson
This woman is the most giving, encouraging, supportive, and selfless person I have ever met in the world. Despite her wants and needs she’s put her husband, four daughters, and two grandsons before anything else. I became a mother a few months ago to that beautiful baby boy above. That woman above is who I aspire to be just as great as; a mother to my son as she is to me. I am absolutely proud to be Margie Mundo’s daughter. Maylene Mundo
She goes by many names, Tracey, T-ray, T-money, Queenie, but I know her most as Mommy. She's a fighter, almost lost her life years ago, was told she would not be able to have children and yet produced me and my brother. I love my mother for many reasons but most of all for the way she uplifts me when I feel like I'm worth nothing. For all that and more, thank you Mommy. As we always say, "Face my fears, gave my mama tears, crying is growth, growth is the come up." Indigo Silva, Good Morning Las Vegas producer
My Mom is Always there for me! Debra Porter
My mom is one of my very best friends. My relationship with my mother stregthen when my dad was diagnosed with stage four cancer. My mom made me realize that women are capable of anything. She smiled, laughed, and worked hard for our family during our rough times. I am so thankful to have a supporting mother that does everything she can in order to keep our house the lovely place it is. I don’t know what I would without her beautiful spirit in my life! Happy Mother’s Day. I love you. Kaitlan Rose
I am a resident of Las Vegas for over 30 years. I'm submitting a photo and paragraph to nominate my mother for Mother's Day recognition. Olivis Williams-Taylor
She first laid her hands on her stomach to let you feel the love from outside to inside the creating of your heart and body; She took your little hand and fingers gently in hers at your first breath from now until forever; She took your hand when that all important first step happened then releasing you gently to go on your own; She then kept those hands opened throughout the rest of your life to hug, caress and help when you were lost, confused, troubled, challenged and to clap endlessly with pride; She then joyfully took those hands to hold your own creation of life to give them her encouragement of love; Then things changed where you were needed to hold her hand to help her take some troubled steps, to hold her hand in her heartbreak, to hold her hand when she was feeling ill or to hold her hand with encouragement of challenging days ahead; AND then those two pairs of hands parted suddenly one day leaving you longing for that special touch again. I share my thoughts of this lady who molded my life, my heart, my soul with my heartfelt love being eternal. Linda Peraldo
Meet my Mom, Jackie! She has been a wonderful mom for 23 years now and she is such a strong woman and a blessing to our family. She has raised my younger sister & I by herself and still remains to make it for our appointments and activities with a full time job. We lost our dad earlier this year, and with that being said...she still has a smile on her face, positive attitude and love for people and a servants heart. I look up to her in many ways... Regardless of the bitter things life throws at her she handles them all with grace. I'm proud to say that shes my mom and one day when I look back, I could say maybe I was as half as strong as she has been for me, for me to be for my family. Love you Ma! Kara Weinhart
My mom Mary Davis is my strength. She is a prime example of what it means to always keep fighting. Despite her diagnosis of End Stage Renal Disease and having dialysis three days a week, she never lets it stop her from living her best life. My mom has the biggest heart and is always helping and encouraging others. May God continue to bless her. I love you 3000 mom. - Ebony Davis
My mother, Sharon Graziano, is hands down the most outstanding woman I know. Not only has she raise two wonderful children, myself included, but she worked full time for over 20+ years, kept our household immaculate and cared for our family. All of which she still does to this day. On top of that she a wonderful wife to my father and has always helped and supported him over their 30 years of marriage. She also holds a very crucial job within the Las Vegas Constables office as the Executive Secretary. With a daily life that seems to not stop she always makes time for everyone from the grandparents to the family dog. I’ve seen her go through so much and always come out on top as a winner even in the most trying times. I cannot believe how blessed I am to have this delightful woman as my mother! Elyssa Graziano
My mom, Ernestina is almost 88 years young and a widow. Her native country is Mexico. She had myself and my two brothers. We all live in Las Vegas. She and my dad years ago, came to live in Las Vegas to be with us and some of her grandchildren. Ernestina has 15 grand kids and 6 great grand kids. She and I spend Fridays together, as Fridays are my day off. My dad passed away, tomorrow, 14 years ago. He passed away in the early hours, right after Mother's day in 2005 so Mother's day has been bitter sweet for my mom and I. I treasure every Mother's day as I do not know when our Lord will need her more in heaven than here on earth. Evelyn Maesaka
Happy Mother's Day to to the most amazing mom ever!! Love you. Felecia Elder
This will be my first Mother's Day without my Mom, Lena; she passed away in October of 2018 at the age of 91. This year will be especially difficult. I traveled to Colorado to spend the last few Mother's Days with her. Mom was a single mother, who taught my brother and me the importance of hard work and service to our country. Mother's Day will never be the same for us. Connie Meek
This is my beautiful mother, Tonya. I am honestly extremely grateful to have her in my life. She does so much for my three siblings and I, and I cannot thank her enough. From working graveyard shifts and getting no sleep just so she can take us to school during the weekdays to having dinner made before she has to leave for work, my mother is the pure definition of supermom. Thank you mommy for being the light in my life and my number one support system. One day I’ll be able to do as much for you as you have done for me. I love you. Lillie Satterwhite
Meet my mom, Claire! She is the strongest, most hardworking woman I know. With only a high school diploma, she started in the mailroom at Chevron in San Ramon, CA, to then work her way up to a successful career in IT. She taught me hard work brings experiences not materialist things. After 26 years at Chevron, she retired to Las Vegas—the same place she met my dad 46 years ago. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in September 2018. Since then she’s had several rounds of chemo and multiple hospital stays. She’s fighting for her life, for her family but especially her four beautiful grandchildren, Reese (17), Stella (13), Robbie (11) and Drake (11). My mom is an absolute gem, and I want to use this as an opportunity to thank her for all her hard work including at one time working two jobs to get me through college. Here’s our picture from my college graduation, December 1999. Happy Mother’s Day to the lady who will take on any challenge, I love you more than you will ever know! #OnlyLiveToday Meghan Fintland

Her smile, and personality brings so much joy and laughter to everyone's lives at work, and outside of work. My Mom is originally from Italy, and her adorable accent leaves a joyous, lasting impression on everyone she meets. The love, and ambition my mom has for life makes everything better.
