March 11 conference in Las Vegas will address gender pay gap issue

The '21' Experience, A Gender Pay Gap Conference" is coming to Las Vegas on March 11.

During the conference, guests will witness discussions about the disparate gap in pay between women and men across all industries, races, age groups, demograhics and education levels.

The conference will include a compelling timeline of events, laws, and efforts that have suppressed and limited women's efforts to succeed and excel in the workplace and entrepreneurship. 

Those who may interested in attending include millennials, executives, entrepreneurs, educators, industry leaders, athletes, students, working moms, and workforce re-entry candidates. 

Keynote speakers will include:

  • Dr. Lois Tarkanian, Las Vegas Councilwoman for Ward 1, Mayor Pro Tem of Las Vegas
  • Michelle Ansani, Financial Executive, MBA (Risk Management), Former Sr. Director of Quality and Complaint Program and Operations, Capital One Finance 
  • Maria Dent, Nevada State Director for AARP
  • Erika Washington, Nevada State Director for Make It Work Campaign, 1st Vice Chair of Clark County Democratic Party, Former Director of Development, Las Vegas Urban League

Following the conference, guests are invited to attend the cocktail reception to network and meet with the keynote speakers, while enjoying passed hors d'oeuvres and an open bar.
