Make-A-Wish of Southern Nevada received $8,300 from the 100 Degrees of Summer Program Friday.
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers sponsored the 100 Degrees of Summer program where each day the temperature reaches 100 degrees or higher, they donated $100 to Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada.
There were 83 days of 100-degree-plus temperatures, leading to $8,300 for Make-A-Wish.
Chief Meteorologist Bryan Scofield presented the check during the 6:30 p.m. show Friday.
