The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is helping to make sure Thanksgiving is an enjoyable one for families across the valley.
On Monday, they held their annual turkey drive.

They've been fundraising and collecting donations for months to make this all possible.
Officers say this couldn't have come at a better time. This is the 20th year the police department has hosted the drive.
Over 500 turkeys along with a bag of side dishes for a Thanksgiving dinner will be delivered to families throughout Las Vegas.
