The City of Las Vegas is to host the second annual Livin' in the City downtown residential fair with a free public symposium on April 25 featuring a pioneering urban planner from Atlanta.
The fair is presented by the City of Las Vegas in partnership with the Downtown Vegas Alliance and Urban Land Institute. It will provide valley residents with information on downtown residential opportunities, including the area’s amenities that create an exceptional quality of life in the heart of the city. Developers of existing and future permitted residential projects will showcase information on both for-rent apartments and for-purchase condominiums, townhomes, lofts and other area multi-family developments. This event will showcase nearly a dozen residential projects and feature an amenity zone highlighting the area’s venues in one convenient place for prospective urban dwellers.
The residential fair will be capped off by a free public symposium featuring keynote speaker Ryan Gravel, an urban planner, designer and author working on infrastructure concept development and policy as the founder of Atlanta-based Sixpitch. Gravel will be joined by a panel of local developers to discuss the progress of downtown residential development.
