The world is showing support for Las Vegas.
It might seem simple, but just dropping a letter in the box outside Las Vegas city hall helps with the healing.
"The outpouring of support from around the country and around the world is something that helps keep us going," said Carolyn Levering, an emergency manager for the City of Las Vegas.
So far the city has gotten hundreds of letters, both nationally and internationally.
Some of them say how proud they are of the city. Some call for love and peace to prevail. Every day more and more are dropped off and mailed.
At some point, the city wants to display all the letters.
Emergency managers have been spending countless hours at the family assistance center. They want everyone to know just by being at the Route 91 Country Music Festival, you can get help.
"We need the love. We feel the love and we thank people who are sending that love to us because it definitely is healing," said Levering.
You can still send in letters; they haven't decided when they'll stop accepting letters.
