Lee Canyon is hosting its annual Birdies & Beers disc golf competition and beer festival on July 23 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Winners receive a cash prize and an awards ceremony. Registration is $40 for professionals and $30 for amateurs.
Those not competing can purchase a beer garden pass for $20 and enjoy a selection of craft beers while listening to performances by Stoked, a local music group. Disc golf players who are 21 receive a stainless steel souvenir cup and four complimentary beer tastings on the course.
Participants can use their own disc golf equipment or rent equipment from Lee Canyon Sports in the base lodge.

Lee Canyon's disc golf course was named the number one disc golf course in Las Vegas. The course starts at 9,400 feet above sea level and weaves through the resort's mountainous terrain.
