Lee Canyon debuted its newly modified disc golf course on June 3.
The resort partnered with the U.S. Forest Service to revise the layout of the course in accordance with its plans to protect the designated critical habitat for endangered wildlife.
“Our priority is to balance creating a great guest experience while still protecting the natural habitat that makes the Spring Mountain National Recreation Area and Lee Canyon a unique destination,” said Dan Hooper, Lee Canyon’s general manager.
Players can ride the chairlift to the top of the course, which is 9,300 feet in elevation, and then hike through the resort's mountain terrain to each hole. Disc golf rental packages are $19 for adults and $14 for children 12 years old and younger. Season passes are $50.
Other amenities at Lee Canyon include scenic chairlifts and the Bristlecone Bar & Grill.
