LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — One Las Vegas valley family received an early Christmas gift that they will never forget.
They received a home full of new furniture on Wednesday, courtesy of Walker Furniture's "Home for the Holidays" initiative.
Not only did Sharee Brooks and her four children get some much needed help, they also got a surprise visit from the Vegas Golden Knights who gave the family some jerseys.
The family was homeless over the summer and they've been sleeping on the floor for months.
A special education teacher for one of the children wrote the letter to Walker Furniture that led to the donation.
