HENDERSON (KTNV) — May 1 or May Day is celebrated as Lei Day in Hawaii and here on the 9th Island, a big celebration took place in Henderson.
Locals got together to celebrate and enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of home.
It all took place near Green Valley Parkway and the 215 beltway.
There was free food, festivities and local vendors.
