LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers visited some seniors today to give them some early Valentine's Day treats.
Officers held their Slippers for our Sweetheart Seniors event this afternoon at The Desert Oasis Senior Living Apartments near Lamb Boulevard and Bonanza Road.
Police brought slippers, blankets, candy, and flowers to the seniors they visited.
Police say these folks may have been forgotten about during the pandemic and they wanted to show them they're still thought of and loved.
