LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Today, 35 volunteer carpenters are helping out homeless veterans by doing what they do best.
The group from Local 1977 Carpenters Union is doing repairs at Veterans village near Fremont Street and Eastern Avenue.
They're installing kitchen sinks, cabinets, bathroom vanities, hardware and plumbing
The union donated the materials to make it all possible.
