LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — September is National Service Dog Month.

To celebrate, a boy from Alaska got his own life-saving canine thanks to a charity here in Las Vegas.

Miracle Flights flew Owen O'Bryan and his parents from Alaska to Kansas for free so the family could pick up their new dog from the Cares Foundation.
