Walker Furniture delivered new furniture and accessories for a “Reading Corner” in the library at Ira J. Earl Elementary School and Spread The Word Nevada donated 400 books on April 3.
Students at the school won Walker Furniture’s district-wide 12th Annual “All About Reading” Competition by reading 1,172 books during Nevada Reading Week from Feb. 27-March 3. Sixteen elementary schools participated and collectively read 5,485 books that week.
