On Aug. 23 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. IHOP restaurants will offer a short stack of pancakes for $1 with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting No Kid Hungry.

No Kid Hungry aims to fight childhood hunger in the U.S. by working with schools to provide quality breakfast programs, and by offering information on cooking and shopping on a budget.

IHOP hopes to sell one million pancakes to make an impact in the lives of hungry children across America.
