HENDERSON (KTNV) — Henderson is being recognized for its commitment to equality.
The Human Rights Campaign ranked the city of Henderson as one of the most inclusive places in the country for the LGBTQ community.
Factors include services being offered to members within the community.
“Everyone benefits from being as inclusive as possible. It’s the kind of community most of us want to live in,” said Tim Buchanan, with the Henderson mayor’s office.
Henderson has also been recognized as one of the best and safest places to live in the nation.
