Firefighters, police officers and trauma workers who responded to the deadly Las Vegas Strip crash in December were recognized Tuesday morning.

Clark County Commissioners honored the Clark County Fire Department, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and UMC Trauma for their hard work and life-saving efforts during the car crash.

Dozens of people were rushed to the hospital and others had to be treated at the scene near Paris and Planet Hollywood hotel-casinos on Dec. 20. The crash killed Jessica Valenzuela of Arizona.

Lakeisha Holloway was arrested in connection to the crash and faces a murder charge.
