Wounded veterans are benefiting from a bowling tournament held Saturday at Sam's Town hotel-casino.
Proceeds from the event go toward Race for the Wounded, a nonprofit that raises awareness about challenges facing wounded veterans.
On Sunday, local off-road riders took veterans along for the ride. The public could also go on a ride with money raised going toward charity.
