In fact, Las Vegas' zip code, 89179, is only behind zip codes in Gilbert, Arizona, Los Angeles, Dallas and Miami in the Realtor.com survey.
The website ranked cities based on new construction, job growth and household formation.
According to Realtor.com, households in 89179 are expected to grow by 19.4 percent in the next five years while Clark County at large is also expected to see growth.
