A local author showcase will take place March 18 at the Paseo Verde Library on Green Valley Parkway in Henderson.
More than 60 authors from the Las Vegas valley will participate. Everything from children's books to crime novels to inspirational stories will be represented.
There will also be an exclusive appearance by romance writer Sylvia Day.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with meet-and-greets scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 12 to 1:30 p.m. Day will appear from 2 to 3 p.m.
