The Henderson Chamber of Commerce (HCC) in partnership with the Nevada Business Information Network (BIN) for COVID-19 Response and Recovery, are giving audiences an inside look at the burgeoning sports brands in Nevada in a new web series titled, “The Comeback: The Power of Sports, Hope and Recovery.”
The 30-minute, pre-recorded episodes will go on location and feature sports industry leaders from around the state including Coach TJ Otzelberger of UNLV Basketball; Marc Badain, President of the Las Vegas Raiders; Kerry Bubolz, President of the Vegas Golden Knights; Doug Knuth, Athletic Director for University of Nevada-Reno and more.
Hosted by D.J. Allen, President of the Xs & Os of Success, the series will cover sports team highlights and facilities updates, discuss impacts of the pandemic as well as correlate sports to our local economies.
Episode 1, featuring UNLV Basketball Coach T.J. Otzelberger, is set to air on June 12 at noon on the HCC’s YouTube Channel.
In addition, members of BIN including the Latin Chamber, Vegas Chamber, Reno-Sparks Chamber, and Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) will be sharing the series on their social media channels as well.
