Dozens gathered at the Neon Museum's NE10 building on May 5 and 7 for the Helldorado Days Art Show. Sculpters, painters, photographers, and other artists displayed 50 original pieces in a free event for the public.

The Las Vegas Elks Lodge has been hosting Helldorado Days since the 1930s. Originally created to bring tourists to the Boulder Dam, the event has since turned into a month-long celebration of cowboys and Western culture. According to Director Beverly Salhanick, the art show has been a part of the festival since 1965.

Other Helldorado events include rodeos, a beard contest, pig races, concerts, a parade, lumberjack shows, golf tournaments, and more. Click here for more details.
