Goodwill of Southern Nevada’s largest Career Connections center, located at The Boulevard Mall, will celebrate its official grand opening on Thursday, Aug. 4.
There will be a reception, tours and a career and job resource fair bringing together job seekers, employers and community leaders. The reception begins at 8:30 a.m. The job resource fair goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the employment workshops are from 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Made possible in part by a grant from the Engelstad Family Foundation, the 4,900 square-foot career center and training room will allow the nonprofit to offer one-on-one career counseling, job training, workshops and provide computer access and other supportive services at no cost to the unemployed and the underemployed.
Goodwill of Southern Nevada opened a 28,000 square-foot flagship retail store at The Boulevard Mall on Oct. 16, 2015, which is the only Goodwill store in the country to open in an anchor location in a major regional mall. The new Career Connections has direct access from the store, as well as a separate mall entrance.
