Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada and Super Cleaners are hosting a drive to collect new or gently worn coats and blankets now through Dec. 18.

Donations will support the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, The Salvation Army Southern Nevada, Shannon West Homeless Youth Center, and the United States Veterans Initiative.

“Girl Scouts have always helped those in need and this year we’re partnering with Super Cleaners to get as many coats and blankets as possible to our Southern Nevada neighbors who may need warmth this winter. We are asking our community to help us reach our goal of donating 500 coats and blankets to ‘coat Las Vegas’,” said Kimberly Trueba, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada.
