Wear your flip flops into Tropical Smoothie Cafe Friday and you'll get a free smoothie.
It is part of National Flip Flop Day recognition in Las Vegas. A Jetty Punch, a strawberry banana smoothie, will be given away to everyone who walks into the cafe in flip flops from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Customers are asked to make a donation to Camp Sunshine, which offers a year-round camp to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
To make a nomination and help Tropical Smoothie Café share the sunshine, fans can simply go online to submit a family’s name and share a story of why they could benefit from a Camp Sunshine Trip.
Tropical Smoothie Café will select at least 10 families from the submitted nominations to attend the camp.
Selected families will be notified following the completion of National Flip Flop Day.
