The upgrade on the Fremont Street Experience canopy is expected to be complete by the end of 2019.
The canopy is undergoing a $32 million renovation, which is set to start in February and be finished by Dec. 31, 2019.
The Fremont Street Experience says the upgraded monitor will be 7 times brighter than it is now with four times the resolution.
