LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Two former Lady Rebels are helping out Las Vegas valley elementary schools.

Dylan and Dakota Gonzalez played at UNLV from 2015 to 2017 before taking their talents to the music industry.

On Friday, the Dylan and Dakota Peace Train Foundation donated school supplies to two schools in Clark County, John S Park Elementary School, near Oakey Boulevard and Maryland Parkway, and Elbert Edwards Elementary School, near Lamb Boulevard and Bonanza Road.

Dakota says they got an assist from the community.

"Jordan was reaching out, figuring out what these schools needed," said the UNLV Lady Rebels Alumna, "and we got a list of supplies that these young kids need."

"So we went out to the Walmarts and we raised money, we bought the supplies," she said. "We are so grateful to everyone that donated."
