First responders can get two free tickets to the Bret Michaels show on November 3 at The Joint inside the Hard Rock hotel-casino.

Michaels said that he wanted to give back to those who courageously served and protected Las Vegas during the 1 October shooting.

“Through my love of country music, I have many industry friends affected by these recent events. My thoughts go out to them as well as the all the fans and their families,” said Michaels. Adding, “In appreciation of the Las Vegas first responders, police, fire, EMT and rescue personnel who worked around the clock to help others during this tragedy, we would like to honor and recognize these heroes.”

Tickets can be picked up at The Joint box office on the day of the show with both state issued and staff identification. They're available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Those who qualify for the tickets include active duty police officers, state highway patrols, firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, active duty military, veterans, hospital staff, and United Blood Services employees.

Michaels will also make a donation to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund through his Life Rocks Foundation during his performance on Nov. 3.
