First Friday Foundation and artist Karma Reyes are hosting an art class series called Totes of Love.
The class is to paint and stencil small totes with inspirational quotes to be filled with donated items that will be delivered to women and teenage girls at local shelters.
Their Totes of Love program will be held on multiple days throughout the month of September at various locations throughout the valley.
Donations of the following travel-sized items will be accepted: toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary items, dry shampoo, and deodorant will be accepted – in a safe socially distanced manner – in front of Crafthaus Brewery on California and Main from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Sept. 4.
A Salvation Army van will be accepting items and those who donate will get a ticket for a special price on a Crafthaus beer.
Suggested donation of $15 per person - your donation will help us cover instructors and items needed to host the class.
